More than 30 participants attended the conference “Business Information Optimization”, presented by Earl James Gobin, HP Business Development Manager and Business Intelligence Practice of Latin America and the Caribbean, who led a discussion regarding data trends, next generation BI trends and how the HP Neoview platform addresses these requirements and the HP-Bitam value proposition.
David Abdo, CEO of Bitam, introduced the new version of Bitam products, Generation 6. Clients and partners of Bitam were presented with the benefits and a demonstration of the features and functionality of the new release. G6 is a tightly integrated Enterprise Performance Management software suite designed to work as one that includes Business Intelligence, Strategic Planning, Financial Planning, Business Process Management, and Business Activity Monitoring.
The event was held at the Hotel Quinta Real in Monterrey, Mexico on January 24, 2008. The conference followed the recent alliance between Bitam and HP to integrate Bitam’s Artus BI software with HP’s Neoview platform. The integration combines a robust data warehouse solution with a powerful business intelligence solution.
