Due to the large amount of
information that is generated
within the Institute, the need to integrate both operational and administrative data from all over the nation became evident.
The information from each of the areas, dependencies and municipalities that are part of the institute are found in different cities and on different databases.
The Institute did not have the necessary strategy in place to allow for a better control and analysis of all the information being processed each day.
|
The solution included the implementation of new DSS, Financial Management and Statistics Systems; which automatically access all transactional databases of the Institute. The modules Developer for the systems were: Financial Statements, Income, Expenses, Investments, Budgets, Programmed Targets, Budget Targets, Institute Evaluation, Municipalities, Medical Services, Work Program, and Presidential Targets. |
Data consolidation from all
areas, dependencies and
municipalities.
Better communication among the areas within the institute.
Better monitor capabilities.
Decreased response time for report generation.
Immediate availability of
information required for
decision-making purposes.
Timely decision making.
Data availability of all daily
processes that take place in
the institute.
